Shining a light on local history

These custom-designed murals were part of a nationwide branding effort. They were installed in newly remodeled branches with the intention of creating a sense of community pride by shining a light on their local history.

This mural was designed for the newly renovated Wells Fargo branch located in the Castro District of San Francisco. Using historical images from Wells Fargo, the city of San Francisco, and my photography, I created a collage highlighting some of the district’s icons—the trolley car and the Castro Theater.
