My story
Growing up in Argentina, I had big dreams of going to college and being financially independent. With architecture in mind, I was one of the few young women admitted to one of the top high schools in my city. This academically demanding and male-dominated school specifically prepared students for careers in engineering and architecture.
But, life took a turn when I moved to the United States, marking the beginning of a new chapter. Despite this challenging transition, my determination to pursue a professional career never wavered. Initially, I focused on mastering English and completing my general education at City College.
It was during my time in San Francisco that I stumbled upon graphic design, a discovery that ignited a passion to pursue further studies at CCA (California College of the Arts), all while balancing a full-time job as a waitress. As an immigrant, earning my BA gave me a great sense of accomplishment, especially as the first generation in my family to do so.
While my journey initially started in architecture, my passion for creativity and continuous growth has led me down an exciting path in design. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of organizations—from cozy studios and bustling ad agencies to large corporations, nonprofits, and even launching my own design practice and collaborating with early-stage startups.
My work has spanned digital, print, and environmental platforms, where I've added value to brands like 826 Valencia, Earthjustice, McSweeney's, Sterling Publishing, UC Santa Cruz, The Oakland Ballet, The Museum of African Diaspora, Friend of the Children, Wells Fargo, General Motors, Albertsons, Cover Girl, and Disney.
I am curious, creative, and resourceful with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. I have a passion for social impact and believe in the power of design to drive positive change. As a lifelong learner, I am always seeking ways to grow as a designer, a person, and a businesswoman. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working on diverse projects, translating my skills and creativity into new areas and formats.
I find inspiration in nature’s stunning color palettes, fabric stores, vintage LP covers, classic cars, forgotten books, music, personal stories, and much more. When not working on a design problem, you can find me doing a handstand at my favorite yoga studio, playing in the ocean with my surf buddy, or grooving to Brazilian beats.
