Inspiring action with a vision for a mobile-first website redesign

The Environmental Law Alliance helps communities speak out for clean air, clean water, and a healthy planet. They are a global alliance of attorneys, scientists, and other advocates collaborating across borders.

I partnered with the alliance to identify opportunities for improving their website. Through in-depth research and collaboration, we concluded that a complete redesign was the best solution to meet their goals. With limited funding, our focus was to create a compelling vision for the new website — one that would inspire prospective funders to support the redesign effort.

My Role: UX Audit, Information Architecture, Digital Design, Content, and Branding

My Approach
• Conducted a UX survey to gather insights on their goals, users, and organizational mission.
• Performed a competitive analysis and a comprehensive UX audit of the existing website.
• Created a Whimsical Document to organize findings, recommendations, low-fidelity designs, and a revised information architecture.
• Collaborated with the ELAW team at every step, gaining alignment and buy-in for the vision.
