A new look & feel

Resonate is a nonprofit organization based in Rwanda that delivers leadership workshops for women and youth. They collaborate with groups providing skills and education while integrating their courses into their existing programs.

Resonate needed a visual identity that reflected its newly updated brand positioning. I partnered with them to develop and implement a look and feel that embraced the brand personality, worked well with Resonate’s existing logo, and connected with their audience.

Creating the Personality
After exploring a few different directions and going through various design iterations, we move forward with a design system, color palette, and graphic treatment that felt vibrant, warm, and trustworthy.

 

Implementing the Visual Identity
I designed Resonate’s stationery system and carried the design across the marketing collateral for print and digital use.

Overcoming Limitations
To address budget and technical constraints, I created templates for all the collateral materials in Word and PowerPoint, which were the programs they had access to and felt comfortable using. By doing so, the staff could edit the files with ease and print them as needed. I trained the Communications Coordinator on how to use the templates, so she could share that information with the rest of the team.
